My friend Courtney came back from Belgium a few days ago. Haven't really seen or talked to her though. I don't really want to, and it seemed like a hassle for her to even give me a hug thismorning at practice, so why bother? This is the girl who 5 months ago was bawling with me and basically the whole team, that she didn't want to leave RAC, that we'd always be close, and not to forget her, etc, etc. It was especially hard for my great friend Danny. They recently started going out, and to say the least, he was infatuated with her. They truly loved each other, and continued to talk on the phone/send mails to eachother. She wanted to be home, and he wanted her home. On monday, danny called her and Maddie (staying at her house) to see if he could see this girl whom he was so madly (and still is) in love with. She brushed him off, not even really attempting to make plans, but simply stating "i don't know what's going on". Poor danny. I fee so bad for him. Why is she blowing him off like this? Too good for him? You are going out. You're the one that wanted to stay together. Danny finally got to see her last night. He said it was awful and incredibly awkward. Lke she didn/t want to be there with him at all. If you are trying to break up with a guy, worst time to do it, BTW. And, you have been still in touch recently. Not like things were fading... What the fuck. It's like no one else on the team exists besides Maddie, Jack, Tom. Don't get my wrong, I know that they are besssst friends, but don't any of us count? I was really great friends with court, and so sad to see her go, and mad excited to see her back. Now, it sucks. I never woul dhave expected this from her. She seemed so levelheaded and down to earth. What the fuck. Really depresses me to see the deterioration of this friendship. I hope Danny feels better soon, or this all gets straightened out. Fucking blows. I mean, it's just rude to blow people off, no matter if there is history or not.
Just wanted to get that out. really bothering me.
