(no subject)
i had a pretty good day today. i woke up and had Jack & Benny's for breakfast, which is always a treat. then i went downtown to the permit office and got my parking permit thingy fixed. i had some time to spare before work so i visited the Book Loft and went shopping. i bought:
"A Short History of Nearly Everything" by Bill Bryson
and
"A People's History of the United States" by Howard Zinn (i needed to own a copy, but i should've bought it as a hardcover)
i almost bought "Nickel and Dimed: On (Not) Getting By in America" by Barbara Ehrenreich, but that would've been a little too much money to spend. i am very satisfied with my purchases, and have just started "A Short History of Nearly Everything." cheers for me!
then i went to work, and got a pleasant surprise when i found out i would be closing the line with emily. how nice. i didn't use it productively, though. but things will happen eventually, i know.
tomorrow i volunteer at Comfest! apparently i will be working security, and will get paid in a t-shirt and beer tokens! yes! if any of you in columbus are reading this right now, i will be working tomorrow (Friday) from 1-5pm probably at one of the barricades. so, don't start any shit, or i'll throw your ass out!
