OK, I know it has been forever since I have updated this thing. There's so much to say, and no time to say it. The last four weeks have been filled to the brim with great fun, memories, some stress, lots of family, and tons of adventures.
During the past 4 weeks, I have traveled with the fam through Venice, Padova, Cinque Terre, Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Rome, Assisi, Cosenza, Naples, Sorrento, Capri and now I'm back in Padova!
I go home two days after tomorrow, and can I tell you how ready I am? It's been a wild ride, but like at the end of a roller coaster, I'm not sure if I'm going to be sick or if I want to run to get back in line.
Last night I found out that Hank Aldridge had passed away. I lost it. Totally broke down. Such a wonderful man. I feel so badly for his family. He will be missed.
Tomorrow I go spend the day with Luisa and we say our final goodbyes. That is not going to be easy. I tear up just thinking about it. Oh man, this is going to be a tough weekend.
But it ends with me coming home, so I'm going to hold on tight and enjoy the end of the ride!
