(no subject)
This is it! I leave Padova this evening to begin a 4 week vacation with my parents, my Aunt Nancy, my mother's cousin George and his wife Adriene. They all arrived on Tuesday and have been staying in Venice. I am thrilled to see all of them and excited to begin our trip.
The end of the year is bringing a mixed bag of emotions. I have made many friends and tons of memories. I have enjoyed and appreciated a new culture and all that comes with it. I miss my home and can't wait to see family and friends, but I will be sorry to leave Italy.
This has been a year of amazing growth and learning for me. I could not have managed the year without the wonderful support I received before and throughout the year from loved ones at home. It was not an easy year by any means, but it has been incredibly satisfying. The lessons I have learned, the people I have met and the experiences I have had justify and overwhelm every tear, frustration, homesickness and lost computer that I have been faced with.
Thank you all very much for your continued love and support. I will be home the 19th of July and not a moment too soon.
