Rounders
Here is my first official commentary of that movie section i said i would start. And the first film is...Rounders. It was a film I had seen on the shelf dozens of times but never thought enough to buy it. So i downloaded it, heh. And I must say, damned good film. Yet another Matt Damon flick with slightly above average appeal. If your looking for action, this film hasn't got it. But i jump ahead. If your all about cards, this is DEFINITELY your film. This is the film that made the world poker tournament and other shows like celebrity poker famous. All about Texas Hold em'. Tiff, you must see this film to learn the game. Good dynamics within character presentation and this made the stretch from Good Will Hunting and Oceans 11 and 12 quite possible. In fact you can easily compare Damon's three characters and see that it's no wonder he was able to make a good paycheck. Anyways, Edward Norton does a pretty decent job of being the supporting guy for Mike, Damon's character. Secondary roles are fabulous being played by Martin Landau, John Malkovich and the girl from X-Men. heh. Overall, very good film, slow action, but worth it, makes you feel good in the end. You win. Next film coming... School of Rock. Until next time.
