The last time I wore skates, they are Barbie on them.
Finally got down to watching Whip It, when Hazel came over today. (We ate microwave popcorn, pizza + diet snapple on the floor) Ellen page did a really kickass job as Bliss/Babe Ruthless. Love the film, and the cinematography -- old-town vibes with the bbq diner, pageant, roller derby and the indie-rock band. And the soundtrack is pretty awesome too! (The whole Bliss-Oliver thing going on was so cute/sweet, especially the marco polo scene)
