I suppose I can still pull it out.  This fantasy/romance/adventure story thingy is just not cooperating.  But I'll keep plugging along-I like my characters.  A lot, actually.  Even if most of them are E.W.'s and she's lending them to me.  A friend IM'd me yesterday to ask if I was doing NaNo and to announce that she had 26,000 words already "..and

Words per day is a poor measure of how good a writer you are. NaNo is a fun way to hone your skills, but a poor goal for successful writing. It is a wind sprint designed to strengthen you.
