Summary: He was sent into the future knowing that he had to save her in the past, but he did not know how to. Follow the Lord of the West on his journey to save the human woman he loves in the past.

Author Note: This is a start to a new story line that I am entertaining...soooo ya have fun reading it!


I have watched her grow into a woman, watched her as she would jump into the well that dragged her back to the past and away from me.

The worry that I felt each time she did grew with each trip, I knew that the time that she and my half-brother would face the bastard Naraku was growing closer. I hoped that my past self could get over the self imposed hatred of humanity to save the woman that I knew he loved from afar.

I hoped that he would do what I did not have the courage to do, I still remember that day we confronted Naraku together, my beast howling out in misery as the memories washed over me.

The bastard’s power had grown to an unbelievable amount and we were not prepared when we had faced him, my half-brother had been the first of our losses…pierced through the heart with a tentacle.

The slayer and monk followed next both being consumed by the monk’s wind tunnel, only the miko and I had remained to stand against the bastard…we were the hope for the future of humanity.

Thankfully for us Kagura and Kanna were on our sides having had their hearts returned by the miko; I still remember the look of shock on the bastard’s face when Kagura had attacked him.

However our victory was cut short from when out of nowhere a tentacle tore through the miko’s chest.

I swallowed my growl as I shook my head from side to side trying to clear my thoughts, trying to forget the image of her lifeless body dangling above the ground leaving me unable to do anything to save her.

Though somehow I had been given a second chance to save her, I had been sent into her future.
