Author Note: Am listening to sumba music and came up with this story on a whim, I used the prompt in the summary since I am planning to make this an interconnected drabble! I hope that everyone enjoys reading it, and opinions are welcomed just don't be harash :-P.

“Are you ready, Kagome?” I heard Sesshoumaru ask me softly as I felt his fingers tightening around my own, I swallowed and shook my head no.

Sesshoumaru chuckled softly before tugging me towards the side of the dance floor, as the voices of the audience became louder the churning in my stomach worsened. I stopped suddenly causing him to almost yank my arm out of its socket.

“Sesshoumaru, I can not do this! I don’t know what I was thinking when I agreed to do this…please don’t make me do this!” My pleading fell on deaf ears as he pulled us the last few inches towards the stage, the light shined on us causing me to want to die.

“Now ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure to introduce the next pair!” The announcer screamed somewhere in front of us.

My heart started to beat loudly almost deafening, “please Sesshoumaru,” I begged him again but knew that it was in vain as the announcer screamed our names.

“Sesshoumaru Taka and Kagome Taka!” The roar of the audience shook the walls of the studio causing me to cringe slightly.

And that was our cue; I knew that I would not be able to get out of this.

Sesshoumaru’s hand fell from mine as he went to stand in the middle of the dance floor, courage danced behind his eyes giving me hope that I could actually do this…at least I would do it for him.

I walked out slowly as the music started, my heels clicking softly on the tile of the dance floor, with each step my confidence grew.

I took my place in front of him a small smile tugged at my lips as he wrapped his arms around my waist, “I have faith in you,” he whispered softly.
