‘What in holy hell is that awful smell?’ Sesshoumaru thought as he walked up the stairs to the front door.
Slowly opening up the door Sesshoumaru was hit head on with a rancid smell that left him gagging; hearing pots clanking around in the kitchen gave him his answer…Kagome was cooking again. Halfway tempted to walk back out the door and act as if he wasn’t there crossed his mind; he forced a smile on his face when Kagome popped her head out of the kitchen door.
“Oh Hi baby! I thought I heard the door open, dinner is ready so why don’t you go get comfy or something?” Kagome said in a hurry as she ducked back into the kitchen.
‘Could the or something be me getting take out?’ Sesshoumaru thought silently with a grimace as he removed his jacket and tie. Throwing them onto the back of his chair, he took his place at the table and waited for see the horror that his wife had made.
He didn’t have to wait long because as soon as he sat down Kagome came out of the kitchen carrying a plate of what looked like congealed seaweed….”Kagome…uh dear…that looks nice!”
