Kagome laid her head on her arms and groaned.
“Why me Sango? Is this karma for something I’m going to do in the future because I can’t remember doing anything to deserve this.”
“I don’t know Kagome, but I still don’t understand why you agreed to this deal in the first place. Surely you could have just explained the situation and saved yourself the trouble.”
“No way Sango. Kagura is obsessed with Sesshoumaru. She’d never have believed me. With someone like her the flames of her anger would be fanned no matter what I did.”
“I’ll pray for you.”
“Thanks.”
