Emotional Apathy
“I really messed things up with Kagome this time, and I keep saying the wrong things,” Sesshomaru began.
“I swear you’re emotionally challenged. I knew your lack of concern for others…”
“She’s leaving,” Sesshomaru interrupted Inuyasha’s rant.
Inuyasha was quiet, shocked not only by the two words Sesshomaru said, but by the tone of his voice. A tone he had never heard from his brother. Apprehensive was the best way to describe it.
“I need you to call her, immediately, and talk to her,” Sesshomaru continued. “I’m not good at this kind of stuff.”
“Okay, I’ll do it.” Inuyasha sighed.
