Summary: CU. Sesshoumaru spots a familiar face.
Gazing out of the window, Sesshoumaru attempted to assume a facade of serenity even as the human on the next table over shouted into his mobile phone with no care for the ears he was bombarding. With ears more sensitive than most, Sesshoumaru was a moment away from putting the cellular device into the man’s neglected pot of tea.
Caught up in these bizarre thoughts, he only noticed the little girl stood beside him when she tugged on his suit jacket. He blinked down into an earnest seven-year-old face that was dominated by large blue eyes.
The little girl was a miniature copy of Inuyasha’s miko.
“I like your hair, onii-san,” the little girl told him, reaching out a chubby hand to touch the ends of the silver strands.
Only a normal child shouldn’t have seen his silver hair; it was disguised with a cloaking spell. A normal human would see short brown locks.
“And your moon,” she tapped her own forehead, “do you think my daddy would let me have one?”
Flabbergasted, Sesshoumaru nodded mutely. This was Inuyasha’s miko.
“Kagome,” he recalled in a bemused whisper.
“You know my name? That means... you’re magic!” Kagome clapped her hands joyfully.
