His tongue is a double edged sword. His eyes match the cruelty of his words and his actions are not reassurances of any type or form. And yet, she follows him, with her heart and her soul, completely consumed in him, she follows.
And she bleeds and she cries, because that is what makes her in his eyes. Her hard work, her sweat and her tears, her desire to be there, to trust him, to see him as more than just another demon; those are the reasons why he allows her to tow behind him even if he doesn’t give her the time of day.
And she knows, deep down in her heart, in the darkest corners of her mind that although she is part of his group, that she provides for when he is not there, she is only another human; that proved her worth but still is too filthy to actually gain the kind of recognition she seeks. But still she loves him, her beautiful pristine demon lord. And she bleeds; she cries and works her fingers raw for him, fights until exhaustion for him. And she follows him, with her heart, her soul and her body.
