Summary: Jaken learns the hard way that twins are double the trouble Rin ever was.
A harried scream echoed down the halls of the Palace of the West. Giggles followed the scream, farther up the hall than the scream and moving quickly. Jaken toddled as fast as he could, bent on catching the hellions and making them pay for the indignities they had made him suffer.
Shippo slid to a halt at the end of the hall, cutting off the twin tornadoes. One in each hand, he delivered them to their mother. “Nee-san, I believe these are yours,” he said cheekily.
Kagome laughed. “What did they do this time?” she asked. Before Shippo could reply, Jaken burst into the room.
“Those devils put women's clothes on me! And make-up!”
Kagome turned a stern eye to the twins, fighting to hide her smile. “Takeo, Haku, is that true?”
“Yes, Mama,” echoed to her ears. A deep chuckle came from behind her.
“Jaken doesn't make a pretty girl, does he?” Sesshomaru asked, having been through this same situation with Rin.
“No, 'tou-san.” More giggles.
Jaken squawked and rued the day Lord Sesshomaru's mate birthed the twins.
