Inuyasha scowled as Sesshoumaru greeted clients.
He hated parties, so he sought out Kagome for a dance. He lost himself in her scent, closed his eyes, and pulled her close. Too close, because they were quickly interrupted.
“Don’t take such liberties with your sister, Inuyasha.” Sesshoumaru reprimanded, pulling her into his side.
“Sister-in-law,” she corrected with amusement, looking up at her mate fondly.
His dissatisfied frown turned into a smirk that said ‘It doesn’t matter, I’ve already won.’
Inuyasha growled, wanting to punch him, but Kagome flashed him a brilliant smile.
He muttered a grouchy “Keh” as his nerve fled.
