Kagome focused intently on the boiling brew in front of her, a small blue vial in her hand. She was one step away from completing the medicine for common colds, and if she was to slip up now, anything could go wrong. One droplet was all she needed of the strong concoction in the blue vial, no more.
Two arms wrapped Kagome from behind and a nose buried in her neck. She jumped up surprised, causing several drops to fall into the brew, which turned green instead of dark brown.
"Sesshomaru!"
The Great Dog Demon did nothing but chuckle loudly.
