There was something about the way that the water behaved around Sesshomaru, as though it knew better than to oppose him. Kagome watched a single raindrop hit the crown of his head, evaporating as he released a small trace of his youki.
She was not so lucky.
Water collected in her uniform, soaking the material to her skin. She couldn't help but pout at the unfairness; where he had a droplet, she had a puddle.
He chuckled before pulling her close and doing something with his aura that made her senses tingle as she dried. Sesshomaru was the perfect umbrella.
