„… so I thought to take that function before parenthesis, but-“
“Excuse me,” called soft voice. The young detectives turned to look at the woman standing behind them.
“Yes? Can we help you?” Kagome asked with kind smile. The girl looked at them uncertainly.
“I… um… I heard you were asking everyone about Naraku…” the pair looked at her intrigued.
“Indeed.” Sesshoumaru said. Kagome nodded.
“Do you know something?” The girl started to play with her blond locks while biting her lip. She looked at her listeners.
“I-I’m not sure. It could be nothing… I didn’t even tell that police.” Kagome patted girl’s shoulder.
“Don’t worry, just tell us.”
“Okay. That day I was in my boyfriend’s dorm, because I left there my notes, and when I went out, I saw-“ the girl stopped suddenly, her eyes wandering to some point behind them. For a single moment, her eyes spoke of pure fear.
The pair turned as well, their eyes meeting people from their mathematic course talking with their teacher. When they turned back, the girl was pale, her whole body trembling.
“Sorry. I have to go,” and before anyone could stop her, the mystery girl ran away.
