“I sit here and then crash! I run to the window and I almost fell from it myself! Naraku lays there dead! Just think it could have been me!”
Sesshoumaru gulped down rest of his tea, looking at the woman on his side. He wondered how it was possible she wasn’t pulling her hair out yet. The ‘man’ they were talking to, was so self-centered that he put Narcissus to shame. It took all of his self-control to not simply garb the girl and walk away.
His eyes turned back to Kagome who was smiling sweetly, too sweetly. So she was annoyed as well. Good to know.
“Fascinating, but did you hear something suspicious?” she asked. The man thought for a moment, before shaking his head.
“No. I mean Naraku was such a bastard. Who would want anything to do with him? Not like me,” he added, wiggling his eyebrow suggestively. Kagome cringed mentally, while her partner snorted.
“So now that you know all of this, how about going somewhere with me?” This time Sesshoumaru decided to take some action.
“Sorry, she’s busy,” and bounding his arm over girl’s waist, he led her outside, ignoring beaming smile on her face.
