His strength was leaving him, that much she could tell. The first sensation she registered after the fall was the grip of his fingers, that slowly but surely loosened at her wrist. Groaning, the last of the rocky deluge fell, dust covering every gleam of silver, gleaming hair, until it was smothered a dirty grey.

He shifted, shedding the strands as his eyes moved to meet hers, his chest vibrating a growl. His eyes met hers, the aggression startling, and she glanced down.

Shit.

Somehow, caught up in the moment, she had ended up on top of him.
