Thinking Thoughts
The latest gossip had Sesshoumaru intrigued, so when he and Kagome were next together in the trysting cave, he casually announced, “I heard a rumor.”
“About?”
“Myself.”
“Oh?” she prompted. Bending nearer, he whispered to her about his so-called secret proclivities, and she blushed furiously. “I did not start that rumor!”
He nodded slowly, still holding her gaze... hopefully.
Kagome blinked, then firmly stated, “Don’t even think it!”
But he was thinking, and it must have showed.
“I’m your ally, not your....” She floundered, then started over. “Not my rumor, not my obligation! No. Just no.”
Sesshoumaru sighed in disappointment.
