Lord Humpalot by Fishy! [Drabble 169 -Mount-]

AN- This will be two future chapters of the now titled story on Dokuga... Scruffy Tales and this entry funny enough comes before the last entry for cook. (although it stands alone very well.)
The tiny disheveled dog was truly something to behold, Kagome had fallen in love with him as soon as she laid her eyes on his shivering form, and contrary to the warnings she had been given about the little animal, she found that he was quite friendly.
Just as the other volunteers were making ready to mount a rescue mission into the kennels to find Kagome and the dog she went in after, the bright eyed Miko came out muttering gibberish and cooing affectionately to the filthy pup.
“Lord dirty pants wants a bath doesn't he? Oh yes he does!”

After a bath and some much needed grooming, Kagome found herself unwilling to part with the puppy, so she supervised him as he got some much needed play time in the dog yard.
It took several minuets to notice, but soon enough Kagome realized that none of the male volunteers would brave crossing the little dogs path, when one of the men got too close however she realized that it was not barking that scared them away, instead the dog strode over mounted the mans leg and began to hump away.
Kagome only snickered as ‘Lord Humpalot’ defended his territory.
