“Ugh!” Kagome gave the inside of the well a frustrated kick. “That… JERK!!”
She kept ranting as she clambered up the ladder and stomped out of the well house. Her tirade didn’t pause even when she was stuffing copies of her manga series into her spare backpack.
“-if that was his idea of POLITE request then he can take his manners and shove them up his perfect-” Her voice echoed slightly as she moved to the bathroom.
“Does he REALLY think that just because he’s PRETTY he can boss people around??” She washed her hands and face, her snarls interrupted only when she accidentally inhaled water.
She came up spluttering and dried herself off.
“And NOW I’m nearly drowning myself in the damn sink and it’s ALL HIS FAULT!!” She lined her azure eyes with gold eye shadow, making them more striking and brushed on mascara. “Ordering me around like I’m some errant freaking puppy that he can dominate with his alpha-complex-” She dabbed on lip-gloss and rocked back to examine her work.
She finally stomped back to the well house, her angry voice following her down the well and echoing as she landed softly on the other side.
“SESSHOUMARU!” She shouted.
“Miko.” Sesshoumaru’s silhouette appeared over the lip of the well.
“Here’s the damn manga!” She held up the bag.
“Bring it to me.”
Her jaw dropped, the combination of his new absurd demand and his original absurd demand for her to bring the books in the first place causing her blood pressure to rise high enough to cook poultry. “I am NOT lugging this thing up there when you can carry it with your pinky you LAZY jerk!”
“Lazy?”
It may have been the light but Kagome could have sworn that for a moment Sesshoumaru’s eyes glowed red.
