Kagome plucked a rose from the bouquet Sesshoumaru held. “Why, thank you, Sesshoumaru.”
“That flower wasn’t for you.” He said, irritable.
“I know.” She said simply. He had a date tonight; it must be important if he bought her flowers, Kagome thought with a wistful sigh.
A knock came to her apartment a short time later. When she opened the door to Sesshoumaru, a bouquet of daisies were thrust in her face.
“I broke up with her.” He told her. “For you.”
“Why, thank you, Sesshoumaru.” She whispered softly, and opened the door to her apartment to let him in.
