Kagome stared up at the black sky above her. Confusion had set in long ago, now fear was eating away at her. She took in her surroundings yet again. Pitch black sky, no stars, a large and oddly colored moon, what caught her were the trees. Every one she could see looked like they had been sun bleached and gave off a faint silver glow.
She walked over to the nearest tree and laid her hand on it then tried to break a piece of bark off, 'Its like it's been petrified...'
Looking over her shoulder she saw the well but to her, it looked brand new. 'It doesn't even look like wood either.' Kagome frowned.
She jumped and whirled around just in time to throw a barrier over herself. She watched as the clawed hand grazed off of her sheild and listened as her attacker snarled in frustration.
“Pup, your movements were too loud, a newborn could have dodged that.”
Her attacker growled and looked away from the one who spoke. She took in what looked like two inu youkai, white hair, claws, fangs. The elder had two jagged blue stripes on his cheeks and the younger had nothing save for the blue moon on his forehead.
“Excuse me but... what year is this?” They both turned their attention back to her.
The elder sniffed her suspiciously. “Female.” he commanded, “Just what are you?”
She furrowed her brows in confusion. “I'm a human of course. And who are you?” The elder straightened.
“I am Touga of the West and this is my pup, Sesshoumaru.”
Kagome's breath caught in her throat.
Sesshoumaru strode over to her and prodded her barrier. “Female, what is a human and what is this... strange power you have?”
