Just for a moment it was there; as quickly as the flash of a camera and just as bright. She wouldn't tell anyone else though, nor would he admit that he had in the first place.

Kagome had seen it however and it had been something that had stolen her breath away. In those brief seconds she saw a future with Sesshomaru and it was all because of a simplest upturning of his lips into a smile.
