"You were mated," said Kagome, looking at the faded mark on his neck. He nodded.
"So were you." At her slight smile and nod Sesshōmaru dared to ask more. "What happened?"
"He got himself killed," she looked down, caressing her mark. "It´s been almost three years now. And your´s?"
"She got killed too, long ago." His hand brushed over the mark, unconsciously mirroring her movement. "Who was it?"
"An inu, Shou Koyama."
His eyes widened with recognition.
