The teenager was biting his tongue in concentration, “Come on, we can do this!” The TV paid him little mind and he pushed the buttons of his PS3 controller furiously. He would not lose.
The kit’s selected character shouted a joyous battle-cry every time that she fired a sacred arrow. One after another they were deflected by his adversary, “Damn it!” Tears prickled his emerald eyes as the life of his Kagome went down at a rapid rate. Why couldn’t he just win? His mom was the best ever! She even saved the world from Naraku, why was she so weak in this game?
A huge wave filled with electric power followed by a poisonous whip sent Kagome flying against a tree and her battered body collapsed not long after. The Sacred Jewel appeared on the screen and disastrously darkened before an eerie and sinful voice announced the terrible ‘Game Over.'
Small hands let go of the black controller as if in a trance and he made to leave the room, but stopped at the door and turned to his adversary, “Why is it that you always win?”
The black haired girl grinned knowingly, “Because no one defeats my Sesshomaru-sama.”
