New Job!
I have a new job- I will be working out of Herdon, VA for a tech company, but instead of web applications, I will be doing backend searches for the enterprise. So I go from under appreciated apps the people see, to unappreciated apps that no one sees. But, I get more money, more vacation time, chances to work from anywhere in the world, and, most importantly, I get to TRAVEL! That is the most important aspect. My travels begin with Day One of work, with training in San Jose, Costa Rica, for one week, including a weekend of sight-seeing. Then, I am back stateside for three to five weeks in Raleigh, North Carolina to begin a project for a new client. And if I wish, I can be relocated to London (which I will be very tempted to do) to work out of the company's office there. I have always wanted to travel more, and this is my golden opportunity, and I get to do it internationally which is a tremendous plus!
