Back from a weekend in Berlin; Ina had to be there to interview Mick Rock for Gothic Magazine, so we went together with Michael.
Mick Rock is an ageing rockstar photographer who immortalized Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, the film cast of the Rocky Horror Show, and Ina's childhood hero, David Bowie; the occasion was a vernissage (gallery opening/exibhition) of his new books (4!). The funny things was he was more interesting in taking pictures of us two rather then talking! Ah, well, job deformation I guess! ;P
Marc Splatter joined us for a night on the town, and the weather was great; we did make the mistake to go to K17, however, hoping that the birthday celebration party would prove to be better than usual.. :( ...ever been to a club where you have a strong feel thay just want your cash?!
Never mind...
The day after we walked around a lot, checking for the layout of curious shops and some small galleries I want to plan in the next trip.
We took some sunday flea-markets, and some see-sighting on the museum island, plus the charming artist market.
I still think it's a beautiful city, but it is very poor, and you can feel it.
A great place to visit, but not live...
Well, back now, trying to organize a performing market stand for www.fedcon.de , a some more ideas...
It looks like I am finally moving to a bigger and better place too, and I am looking at some houses this week. (yes, I meant to say houses, not flats! ;P )
