As I just posted in a comment elsewhere, it doesn't look like the proposed party this Saturday is happening. I started planning too late and most people already had other things going on that would make it hard to get to the party if not completely rule it out. So no party Saturday unless something odd happens.
As an alternate birthdayish type thing, They Might be Giants are playing at the Fillmore on the 30th. If anyone wants to take me as a late birthday gift/celebration, I certainly wouldn't mind. Otherwise you can eat cheese and think weaselish thoughts in my honor today.
