PICKPOCKET IS AN AWESOME FILM AND ROBERT BRESSON IS A GOD.
Christ... this week has made me realise that I've really fallen back on my cinema-going. I've been twice this week, to see Melinda and Melinda and the aforementioned Pickpocket. Both were excellent (although Melinda and Melinda had a really annoying ending), and made me recall the pleasure of going to the cinema alone. I was gonna go again to see "Beautiful Boxer" at the NFT, but everyone cancelled on me, and in the end a film about a transexual boxer didn't really appeal. Plus, my bank balance is getting a little strained, and I have to start saving for the school Cuba trip next year, plus a Reading ticket. Luckily, I found a fiver in the street today, which has put me in a good mood.
I want to have another adventure... Of the go-to-gig-meet-random-new-people-go-to-club-drink-drink-drink-wake-up-in-stranger's-house type. I hope The Others play sometime soon, and not too near my exams.
