Changmin really, really had to get used to this. Or he should at least start by forgetting what he’d been used to before, because he wasn’t quite sure what this was going to be like yet.
The routine he’d been used to before was waking up, getting dressed, walking to the living room, dropping down on the couch and thinking about what he was going to do that day or with his life in general for a while as his mind woke up too.
Today there was already someone on his couch. Which was a shock.
He didn’t accidentally sit on Junsu, it wasn’t that kind of shock. The biggest shock was that he didn’t discover him by seeing his sleeping form of hearing his breathing. He felt him.
It was really stupid of him that he hadn’t noticed something missing the day before. He always felt it with every human, their energy. He had felt a very small amount of it yesterday when Junsu had finally eaten something, but that was nothing compared to what he felt now.
The feeling of Junsu’s energy was so different that it surely would have stood out to him. Which meant that Junsu had really been exhausted, starved, and maybe partly drained at the selection as well after all. He was too good at hiding his condition.
Junsu’s energy was strong and... attractive. Changmin had fed off Yoochun less than a week ago, the longest he’d gone without feeding without going insane was almost six weeks. And yet he felt suddenly hungry.
Junsu was lying on his stomach, still sleeping. The blanket only covered the lower half of his body and Changmin examined his bare back.
He was surprised to see that all the wounds had closed, the new skin red but healing. Humans usually wouldn’t heal half as fast, if what he’d read about them was true. Heechul’s lotion was amazing.
Junsu’s back still looked tender though, and Changmin willed his hunger away. If the human had been so exhausted yesterday, he could probably use this new energy himself.
Changmin walked to the room where he knew he kept some books on humans. There were things he wanted to ask Junsu, but he might as well do some research beforehand. He’d hate to ask a stupid question.
He was just done selecting a pile of books he wanted to go through when Junsu walked in, dressed in some of the clothes Changmin had bought for him yesterday and that were now lying in a neat pile next to the couch.
He bowed when Changmin turned to him and then just seemed to wait for him to say something.
“Have you eaten?” Changmin asked, mentally praising himself because he was learning. “Go have breakfast.”
Junsu left the room.
Changmin looked at the books. What would Junsu do if he was done eating? Wait for the next command? He was reminded one of the many reasons he’d been opposed to getting a slave.
Changmin just wanted to read, think, talk with Heechul, train with Yunho to stay in shape and get his mind off things and that was it. Keeping a human busy wasn’t on the list and didn’t fit in anywhere.
He could probably ask Junsu to dust off all his books. That would take a while. But he didn’t like others touching them. And still, when that was done, then what?
What did other slaves do all day? Changmin thought for a while.
What did Yoochun do when Yunho wasn’t playing with him? He’d never wondered about that before.
He went to find Junsu, which wasn’t very hard since he could feel him.
Besides the couch, a few chairs and a small table in front of the fireplace, there was one other place to sit in the living room, apparently.
Changmin never sat on the windowsill, but it was broad and the window looked out over the forest at the edge of the city, so he understood why it had seemed attractive to Junsu.
He human quickly stood up when he noticed him, there was something Changmin didn’t know the name of in his hand and he’d been chewing on a part of it. Changmin should learn about human food. He hated not knowing things.
“Are you almost done?”
Before Junsu could reply Changmin threw him his coat and slipped into his own. “We’re going to Yunho.”
It wasn’t a very long walk to Yunho’s house. Junsu followed him.
Changmin didn’t come here very often, but that didn’t seem like a reason to knock instead of just barging in. Yunho never knocked when he visited him.
He should have expected to run into something he didn’t really want to see, of course, it was Yunho. He only thought of that when he opened the door and stepped inside.
Yoochun was lying on the carpet. His hands were above his head, wrists tied tightly together.
He was naked and his body was trembling, shining with sweat. Sweat and come, there was a lot of come covering his stomach and chest.
His legs were bent under him and restrained as well, ankles tied to thighs so he couldn’t stretch them.
Yunho was sitting next to his legs, leaning back against the couch, one leg stretched out in front of him and the other bent to help support the book he was reading. Which was probably either pornographic or something he just pretended to read.
The fingers of the hand that wasn’t holding the book ran over Yoochun’s skin, tracing lazy circles on his thighs. It looked like he did it thoughtlessly, but he was clearly using his energy to arouse Yoochun.
Yoochun’s cock was hard, angry red to purple and leaking. His face was twisted in pleasure or pain or both and a steady stream of tears mingled with the drops of sweat on his cheeks.
Yunho obviously loved to make his slave feel like just something to play with, not even important enough to look at, touching him while his mind seemed elsewhere.
Yoochun looked like he wanted to scream, or pass out, but Yunho had probably forbidden him to do either. Soft desperate whimpers were all that escaped his lips.
Changmin coughed. He could feel Junsu right behind him and wondered what he was thinking.
Yunho looked up at them and smiled. “One moment. Yoochun wants to come.” He looked down at Yoochun this time, closing his book. “Don’t you?”
Yoochun whimpered. “P-please.” He gasped for air when one of Yunho’s fingers traced the bend of his hip.
“Hmm?” Yunho seemed fascinated by the way Yoochun’s body shook when he touched it. “Please what?”
“Please s-stop” Yoochun’s voice was weak, a lot softer than his ragged breathing.
Three of Yunho’s fingers now touched his skin at once and he threw his head back, teeth digging into his bottom lip.
“Now, now, you obviously need to come,” Yunho said, looking at Yoochun’s erection, twitching against his stomach.
Yoochun whined and tried to shift his hips. His legs were probably numb after being bent for Changmin could only guess how long.
“Let me help you with that.” A grin flashed over Yunho’s face before he lowered his hand, pressing all of it against Yoochun’s thigh at once.
Yoochun’s back arched off the floor and he screamed. Come arched from the tip of his cock onto his chest and his scream lasted until he was out of breath.
His body sagged back down and his head lolled to the side as he passed out.
Yunho tsked. “Only five times? So much for breaking your record.” He stared at his fingers and rubbed the tips together, as if wondering if he hadn’t used enough stimulating energy, or too much.
“Are you done?” Changmin asked, annoyed. They should have just left immediately. What if Junsu now thought all demons treated their slaves like this? That he would?
He had no idea why he would care if Junsu did, he just... it annoyed him, for some reason.
“Almost.” Yunho smirked and ran a finger through the mess on Yoochun’s stomach before bringing it to his mouth and licking it clean. He sighed in contentment. “He tastes good.”
He looked around him, at Junsu, but his question was for Changmin. “How does yours taste?”
“Yunho,” Changmin warned, almost growling.
Yunho laughed. “Oh, I’m sorry.” He stood up and walked to Junsu. Junsu stared at him, face blank. “What’s your name?”
“Junsu.” No 'master' or 'sir'. Changmin wasn't going to say anything about that.
“Okay,” Yunho turned to Changmin. “What does Junsu taste like?”
Changmin glared at him. “I wanted to ask you something, but never mind. We’re leaving.”
Yunho raised an eyebrow, but then he smirked. “Ah, you’ve probably been inspired by what you just saw. Good, go have some fun, but I do want details.”
As he spoke he walked back to Yoochun and released his arms and legs with a single tug on every knot. Yoochun’s body was still limp when he picked it up.
Changmin turned around and grabbed Junsu’s wrist. “Come on.”
He had no idea why this pissed him off this much. He suddenly realised he was touching Junsu as he felt his energy that much stronger. He gasped and let go of his wrist.
“Just.. follow me.”
During the walk home Changmin wondered why Yunho encouraging him to play with his slave bothered him. Didn’t he want to? Junsu’s energy did seem attractive, and he remembered how much better Yoochun’s had tasted when he was aroused.
No. Junsu was still healing. That was a good reason.
He still didn’t know what to do with him instead though. He wanted to read.
When they were inside he turned to face him. “You...” he looked around. “You like to sit there, right?” He pointed at the windowsill where he’d found Junsu that morning.
“The view is nice.” Junsu said, looking a bit puzzled.
“Can you just... sit there and try not to annoy me?” No, wrong. It had to sound like command. Changmin thought as Junsu just stared at him.
“Do it.” That sounded harsh, so he added a weak: “enjoy the view.. or something.”
Changmin turned away from Junsu’s confused expression and resisted the urge to smack himself. He was a ridiculous excuse of a master.
But he didn’t want to make Junsu do any strenuous chores to spare his back and he didn’t want him to walk around so he could read in peace. It made sense, right?
When he had picked up a book and turned back he saw that Junsu was indeed looking out the window like he been before. Maybe he’d grown up in the centre of the human city and had never seen a forest from up close before, then this would at least be interesting to him.
Changmin sat down on the couch. The couch that Junsu had slept on. He tried not to think about that.
As he opened his book he hoped that Junsu wouldn’t suddenly start talking. Not that he had initiated a conversation before, but it would be annoying if he did it now. Changmin really liked to be alone when he read. Which was the reason Yunho always annoyed him.
Junsu didn’t talk. He didn’t make any sound. But as time passed Changmin started to feel a bit uncomfortable regardless. It was just.. there was someone else here, he could feel his presence so clearly, and in this situation the silence was...
Eventually he caught himself hoping that Junsu would say something.
Ten minutes later and he slammed his book shut. Unable to concentrate any longer. From the corners of his eyes he saw Junsu shoot up straight at the sudden sound.
“You’re allowed to talk you know,” he said. That was unfair, Junsu couldn’t have known. But Changmin was annoyed. Life was a lot easier without a human.
Junsu looked at him for a while and then looked around the room. “You have a lot of books”, he said.
“Yes. I like reading, and knowledge.”
“I like knowledge too.”
Changmin blinked. Was that...
“Do you.. want to read too?”
“If there is nothing else you want me to do I would like to.” Junsu was looking straight at him again.
A human interested in reading?
This was why Junsu seemed different from all the other humans Changmin had ever met. He was a mystery.
Changmin really wanted to figure out what was going on inside his head. This had to be why Yunho implying he’d treat him like any other slave annoyed him.
He wanted to learn about junsu. That was why he’d chosen him at the selection. Junsu was different, interesting.
It seemed to him that the best way to do this was to earn his trust, which meant that treating him like a toy probably wouldn’t be the best idea.
Junsu seemed to interpret his silence as a refusal. “I’m sorry, you seem fond of your books, of course you wouldn’t let a human touch them.” He turned back to the window.
Changmin was surprised. He was fond of his books. But it seemed like Junsu was already starting to feel more at ease. Yesterday he wouldn’t even speak without being asked something, now he was okay with assuming he’d read Changmin correctly?
He wanted to say something but Junsu asked: “Am I allowed to sing?”
Changmin was even more surprised, but curious too.
“Yes.”
Junsu started to hum at first, looking out the window. It was soft, but not the annoying kind, it made Changmin want to hear more.
He listened.
After a while Junsu started to sing words. Changmin could understand them, but with difficulty, and not all of them. Maybe it was some dialect. He had never heard it before.
Junsu’s voice, Junsu’s singing, was the most beautiful thing he’d ever heard. The melody was sad, melancholic, and Changmin wondered if he was singing about his past, about something he’d left behind.
He’d wanted to focus on the words and try to find out, but it was impossible to concentrate. He got lost in the strong feeling behind them.
