FYI: We were walking by this candy store and Lena said "I hear that place sells crackaine." We burst out laughing and now use the term "crackaine" for any drug.
I haven't read in 3 days. Lena's problems got really bad and then really good and then REEEALLY bad. She and her boyfriend of a year and a half broke up and she found out that her best friend at Queen's likes her. So it was a very messy weekend. So many people cried, so many heart-to-heart talks, so many hugs and it-will-be-okays and not enough getting work done.
Emily and I stayed with her all day and we talked everything out, and some of the girls from West last year are in on it too. Whenever Lena feels stressed she feels physically sick, so she spent the weekend wrapped up in a pile of blankets and teddy bears on the couch.
Jackson, her ex and my friend, ended up getting really drunk last night and he called us at midnight and sounded like he really needed help. Lena was hyperventilating because she thought it was her fault and she didn't want anything to happen to him. We missioned over to campus and we stayed with him until 3AM. We made sure he had enough water, we made sure he threw up in his garbage can and that he was always on his side when he was sleeping. We left a note by his phone asking to call us when he wakes up. He did, and he said he was fine but feeling like shit. He apologized for the billionth time, and apologized to Lena for being dramatic and kind of a douche.
I think things have settled for the weekend so we should be able to get some shit done.
Oh, also, GOOD NEWS:
We found Bernard the traveling fish. He was in the dryer. Mitch was a dick and hid him in his own room and put him in the dryer before he left for Guelph because he knew we'd try to do laundry this weekend and find it. We put him on top of the TV. He looks so triumphant. We love Bernard.
Mitch and Will are going to come home and be like "WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED THIS WEEKEND?" Lena's single, the fish is back, the dryer is in the middle of the floor and the house looks like a wreck (blankets and junk food everywhere).
