Water
You never think about it. You turn on your tap and it's there. We in our rich developed countries have a hard time realizing that water is more scarce than it appears. I mean, yes, the world is 70% water, but privatization makes it difficult for people in poor countries to have clean water to drink or irrigate, etc.
I watched this documentary with Lena and Scott today and I couldn't tear myself away from it. If you have some time to kill, I suggest you give it a shot, the entire thing is on You Tube. It's called Flow, and it's fascinating and eye-opening, and it makes me question why I'm not going into environmental law.
