graduate studies + other studies
So I'm quite sure I'll get into McMaster or McGill, even York. But I have no idea if I can get into UBC or UVic. The BC academic standards are different, so I don't know where I stand. I want to get into a Vancouver school so I can move out there for 2 reasons: English Grad and Vancouver Film School. I mean, there's a film school in Toronto, but Vancouver is where it's at, it's the Hollywood of Canada. I know I can always do grad and film school in Toronto (or Montreal probably, if I only get into McGill), then move to Vancouver afterwards, but that feels like a waste of time.
I have 1 reference already for grad school, just need 2 more. I'm sure I can get Pappano to give me a decent reference even though I hate her. I'll work on being BFF with my new profs this fall and hope I can get a reference by October (application time!)
