Tim Ho, you were worth something

I counted my tips from Tim Hortons today. I hardly spent any all summer. I saved up $56! High five! I got some coin rolls so I can cash them in. I want to go and see if I got any more tips before I forget about it. I usually got tipped well there.

I'd also like to say I broke my book buying ban today. I visited Will at work (he works at an independent book store, it's usually dull for him), and I took a look around. They had The Salmon of Doubt and Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency. They were paperback and $10 each, and I absolutely love Douglas Adams. I really wanted to have them. Now I have a little Douglas Adams collection. I'm just missing 2 of his books now.

It's really cold tonight, and it's making me want to read. Maybe that's why I haven't read much this summer. Because it hasn't been chilly enough to want to curl up and read. I'm watching Survivor Man with Will.

Tomorrow I have a doctor's appointment at 10AM and then I have some time to kill before I meet Laura, my Oxfam partner, at the library at 3 to discuss our campaign plans. It's going to have to be a short meeting because I gotta get to the bus stop by 4 to get to work on time. I have to taxi home from work! :( Nik isn't here to drive me home. The busses don't come as frequently when I get off work when I close, so I either wait an hour there to catch a bus home, or pay a taxi.

I got a call this morning at 9:30. He's back in town! But he had some bad luck today and he had to be out all day so I probably won't get to see him until the 3rd. It was so great to hear his voice though. When I got his message this morning, I thought he was my uncle because it was a male voice with a south asian accent saying "guess who's in tooownnn!!" Ahahaha. Faroozle. Missed him.
