Hooooly bajingos!

Neal liked the scarf I knit for him! He said he'd wear it, and he wore it for like 4 hours after opening gifts and he even yelled at me when I took it off him to put it on myself. Ho-ly mother of GOD! I never thought that would happen!

I hope everyone who celebrates Christmas had a great one. Mine was ver chill with some chai in the morning, gift opening, and margaritas in the evening followed by my favourite meal. The Christmas haul was very very pleasing. I got a pair of winter boots, the 7-book set of Harry Potter (adult covers, but we're exchanging them for the original tomorrow), an iPod dock (it's white and my nano is black, so we have to exchange that too XD), a cell phone (it's actually my dad's and it still has all of his addresses and stuff in it, but it's a loaner until I can get my own), contacts, and a sweater from my parents. It wouldn't be Christmas with out that one garment that you get as a gift that is rather heinous but you must fake a smile for feelings' sake. My parents know I hate their choice in clothes, but they do this to me every year to make me uncomfortable.

My mom liked her Queen's University Mom sweater, but it was too small so when we go back to Kingston on the 6th, I have to pop into the bookstore and exchange it. My dad reeeally liked his incense holders. He said it was really thoughtful because they were made in India and his incense holder was ... fugly.

And tomorrow would be the second best day of the year - SHOPPING DAY! :'D Rabid shoppers elbowing their way through crowds to get the last popular item that got marked down 80% because the Christmas gift price raping is over. I love it.

shopping, christmas, family
