exit song
Last year, our exit song for leaving West Campus was "Send Me On My Way." We want to keep that as our exit song for this year and have it playing as we leave. I'm playing it on YouTube right now since I don't own the song and I'm kind of tearing up. As much as I want to go home, I don't want this to end. As much as I had a hard time with marks and cultural divides, I had the best damn time. Second year was so so amazing and it went by way too fast. We have been through so much in one year. So so so much. We have our whiteboard FULL of our favourite memories of the year. We're leaving it on all summer so when we come back for third year, we'll see it and laugh.
After I go home, I'll be on my way OUT of university. It's scary and really sad because everyone is right when they say these are the best years ever. I am actually incredibly jealous of the frosh, EVERY YEAR. But nothing ever lasts, and I have great times waiting ahead of me. Third year is going to be rockous, and so will 4th year. But after that, I don't want to leave. I think that confirms just how much I should go to grad school and stay in academics. I can not stand the thought of leaving university!
I need to think about my on-the-drive-home mix.
Whenever I'm on the train, I always play Flogging Molly's "Within A Mile Of Home." I'll come up with more, make a iPod playlist and have it going in the car.
I will take a photo of the whiteboard memories when it's done and share it. :]
I'm gonna take a shower and get to reading.
