weekend
So I had quite the unproductive weekend. Friday night, I went to "movie night" at Kelsey's house. We watched an Australian movie about Drag Queens. It has Guy Pierce and Hugo Weaving in it. They also decided that they wanted to drink. I mostly stuck with plain ol' Coke. I met two of their friends: a gay couple named Colin and John. They were all over each other most of the night. lol I fell off a chair which convinced Colin that I was drunk even though I think I drank the least. I borrowed a few books from Larraine while I was there (leave it to me to go to a party and get BOOKS). I also got my copy of The Host back, as well as You Suck.
Saturday was very fun. Jackson [Lena's boyfriend] re-bleached my hair. Then we had people over for Pokemon Monopoly. It was such an epic game. Emily and Amy played as a team and at one point, they had $3 left. I stuck a deal with them and gave them monopoly on the pinks and they built up nice and big but nobody ever landed on them. When they had $3, I landed on one that had 4 pokecenters [houses] on it. Normal rent would have bee like $15, but because of the pokecenters, it was $450. However. Since I struck that deal with them I had immunity on all the pinks and didn't have to pay. I did anyway. lol It turns out Lena went bankrupt before anyone and joined Faraaz's team, and I joined up with Emily and Amy because I only had 2 properties. I did surprisingly well with only 2 properties and no Monopoly! LOL It was an epic game. Very much fun.
Later that night, we went out to the Ale House for some dancing. It was Lena, Emily, Kelsey and I, plus Jackson and his friends Boris, Natalia [LOL Goldeneye! AND Rocky and Bullwinkle!] and Elise. I had a lot of fun. Boris danced with both me and Emily and Lena was like "wooooo~" but then Jackson was like "he has a girlfriend, he's just being nice." lol I had the best night's sleep ever.
This morning, Jackson pinked my hair. I pretty much spent the rest of the day watching Doctor Who. I finished season 1 and started season 2. One of the drawbacks of watching that show, especially during the term, is that once I turn it off, I'm back here in reality and I have to read about someone named Fanon, and Roman History. I'm really really really much rather travel through space and time with a charming English man. God, I love a man who wears chucks with a suit.
I'm staying at the library tomorrow to get some work and reading done. And download more Doctor Who.
