Birthday stuffs and misc
A week and a bit ago was my birthday so Naomi and I went to see "Whose Live Anyway?". No Colin Mochrie or Wayne Brady, but it was funny all the same. (Greg Proops: "The rich guy and the black guy aren't here because they don't love you, but we do!") They had some audience members come up to help out at the end and the six-year-long improv teacher who practically begged to be on stage wasn't as good as the random Joe. X) Later on I got Gears of War 3 and a Kinect, but returned Gears since it didn't support it. (kidding :P)
Then last week I went to sushi with krk and feydakinphil. krk made me this awesome Totoro cross-stitch that can be seen under the cut below. :D (She also made a Pokemon one for Phil) They also gave me Samba de Amigo (Wii) which was a funny coincidence since I'd been doing Samba stuff in Exerbeat. (kinda goofy, but fun)
I've been working on something for Android. It's a small project but has been going very slowly, partly because some code I was working with wouldn't work on my Nexus S, but I hope to have it done soon.
Apropos of nothing, "An Idiot Abroad" Season 2 started a couple of weeks ago. Though that's not as notable as the "Arrested Development" announcement.
Finally, this is rather odd... After Delicious apparently imploded after being taken over from Yahoo by AVOS (a new company by the founders of YouTube), fandom has been moving to Pinboard, and one fanfic author wrote an anthropomorphic fic about the services. O_o The creator of Pinboard has taken it in stride, and after asking what new features they'd like to see, received a 50 page spec from the community. Wow.
