Tutoring: Planned, tutored and wrote report for student. Filled out paperwork for summer availability even though I don't know because I feel as though I am going to not get the Admission's counselor position. I thought someone would contact me about an interview by now. Apparently this tutoring gig heats up during the summer so I don't want to miss out on the opportunity to get some good hours going.
Urban Promise: On my way back I was thinking about Urban Promise. I usually do after meeting with my Friday student. I was thinking of various funding methods. One method that I want to add would be a sponsorship page to the website so that student's families could elect to have certain information uploaded to the website and then sponsors could come and search for kids they wanted to support. Donations would go directly into their accounts for services.
Moving: I did a lot of work moving yesterday. It does kinda show but not nearly as much as it actually is. I did almost 5 hours of work. I took one load to the new house and unloaded into my new room. I then unpacked the boxes of books so that I could send the boxes back to the house. I finished one load of laundry. Folded and packed it. Then I just jumped into my room.
Other: I also went with Sierra when she was buying her tabs. I thought that the place may have voter registration forms. For some reason my voter registration can't be updated online so I'm doing it on paper. Well the place didn't have one so we went to Sierra's house to print one. While there, I helped her with her paper about why gay people should be allowed to adopt.
I also did a little bit of reading, filled out paperwork, and found my journal for Joshua and wrote an entry.
