Oh man, if that Starbucks commercial doesn't describe my life, I just don't know what does. LoL.
Anyways! Let's get down to updating:
I went to the gym yesterday after not going since before school started...which is not cool because I am still paying for it, whether I go or not. I pulled my everything and it felt so fucking good! I love going there because I have my special little routine that I do and it takes 2 hours, and I don't talk to anyone, I just go and do my own thing and not worry about what anyone else is doing because I'm preoccupied with myself.
First, I go, check in and then put my stuff in a locker downstairs. Then, I go back upstairs to where they keep the cardio eliptical stuff and I turn my little disc man on and pop No Doubt's greatest hits in and just fall into the music. I usually do the ski machine for a good 35-45 minutes, depending upon how into it I am--which I am usually extremely pumped and into it because before getting to the gym I pop a couple stackers:) I enjoy doing my cardio portion of my workout so much more than anything else because I don't listen to my disc man while I lift or do the track...I just love to get real angsty and rock out with Gwen in my head. Like "New", ugh, favorite tune to do anything to...I have so many guys that I could relate to any one of those songs, so that's what I do, and I fall into the music and by the time I get tired at the end of the CD I've already finished the time that I set on the machine and I've done 10+ minutes to boot.
After cardio, I go downstairs, put my headphones away and then I rock out in the ladies gym for my weight lifting portion of my work out. I do 3 sets of 10 reps each on every machine and I strech in between every set, usually I try to increase the weight everytime I do it...gah I love it...then to cool down, I do 4 laps around the track to equal out a mile...then I'm done! I smoke a butt and go walk around the mall to say hi to everyone at Journey's and northshore PacSun. It's my ritual.
And oh man...the nite that I had last nite! Buuuuut unfortunately, I gotta go to class now, so I'll be back with more later.
