Sydney Day 2

Apr 14, 2007 11:18

Its relatively easy to get around in Sydney. The one-way monorail system travels to all the tourisy places. Its like a bigger version of Sentosa and a even bigger tourist trap with its way overpriced transport..

So anyway, we took the over-priced monorail to the all famous Syd Aquarium...

The syd aquarium is reallie LOADS better than the lousy Melb Aquarium.
Considering just how much bigger it is, and how much more fishes it held...not to mention..v interesting fishes...

oops. =)

Some fishes in there were reallie q cute..

If Cyclops frm X-men were to become a fish...it would look like the fish in the bottom right hand corner....so cool rite?
And of course, the one beside it is the Pinocchio fish....=)

After a late lunch, we walked ard a bit in the city..
I went to meet A for a lil while before joining the rest to go back to the hotel.
Cos there was the WK20 concert at night to go for....

The concert started at say....8.30pm? And it promptly ended at abt 11pm or so. Definitely the shortest WK20 concert ever.
Other than the glitches in the sound sys, (there was this fireworks-like sound in the middle of the concert, prob a speaker busted..) the concert went q well. No bright orange suits, no obiang glittery or flowery pants.
There were some nice suits/shirts in the concert for a change! hahaha.

No special songs sung though. Was hoping to hear Zuo Le Cuo Le, De Que Bi Ta Hao and so on...but aiyar..dun have.
The concert was so short, THAT whole segment was being cut out. bleah.
he did sing fly me to the moon and wan wan de yue liang though.
Thankfully bai du ren de ge remained! LQ's violin is still superb. whoosh.

In the end, the organizers actually allowed and agreed for the flowers to be sent up the stage..(phew)
BUT it was so embarrassing when he bent down and received the flowers from the stage, the water from the flowers kind of spilled out onto his pants..."-_-

Ah well, reallie anything can happen. haha

It was a relatively fun concert  i would say,  the audience were rave abt him, singing along and cheering for him.
Plus it helps when the sponsor has thrown in things like the balloon sticks things which can be used for cheering. =)
The photos...happened not to be with me now. haha..so no fotos as of yet. =P
