WOW~! That...THAT WAS THE BEST FREAKIN MOVIE I HAVE SEEN THIS YEAR. HONESTLY. BLOODY HELL. I CAN'T............ I HAVEN'T SEEN A MOVIE THAT GOOD IN SO LONG. THANK YOU ROBERT DOWNEY JR. aka TONY STARK aka IRON MAN. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
I HAVE NOT, AND MOST PROBABLY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET THIS OUT OF MY SYSTEM SO QUICKLY. YOU NOE, CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT I JUST GOT BACK, AND I AM TOO SHOCKED WITH JOY THAT I CANNOT REACT. THE CAPS LOCK IS THE ONLY WAY I CAN RELIEVE THE RUSH THAT IS WICKEDLY TINGLING MY SPINE.
WOW.
Haha, seriously though. That was crazy shit - the technology involved in the Iron Man itself is so out there and amazing and the movie was so well put together, Tony Stark's character was holy-shit-hearts hilarious and I LOVE HIM LOVE HIM - THE MOVIE WAS SO GOOD. Nothing was overdone and even though the plot wasn't really along the lines of OMG-PLOT-TWIST-LITERARY-MASTERPIECE-WTF!? it was more than enough and everything around it was kick ass. The romance (especially his wicked ass lines about the stereotypical reaction of the hero's girlfriend) was AWESOME and not like a bloody daytime drama like X-Men 3. I will estatically say that it was better than Spider-man and X-Men and whatever other Marvel comic they've made into a movie.
I, from a long time ago, have been reserved to loving and following DC comics (especially my darling Batman, who I will not discuss, because his level of awesome and badassery is on a totally different plane), and X-Men's continuous storylines involving whatever other galaxies and wat nots pretty much put me off, but really...WHY DOES MY USED-TO-BE-COMIC-GEEK of a brother NOT have any Iron Man comics?? I felt SO in the dark about anything to do with SHIELD or The Avengers, or several other basic facts about Iron Man and that part of the Marvel Universe (though I could well school someone about how much Batman is easily one of the best characters in comics), though thankfully the bro DID know certain things that helped clarify some of the foreshadowing and hint-hint-nudge-nudge jokes in the movie XD I'm sure that if I knew them beforehand, I would be laughing, clapping and squee-ing as much as the, what I assume to be, the Iron Man super fans who were all grouped together in the centre of the screen (arguably the best seats in the house, which they must've bought well early).
AND YEY FOR SECRET ENDINGS AFTER THE TRAILER.
HONESTLY SAMUEL. L. JACKSON. WAS BEING A JEDI NOT ENOUGH!? WHY ARE YOU TAKING ALL THE CRAZY BADASS ROLES THAT COMIC FANS WORLDWIDE WILL DROOL ALL OVER YOU FOR???
WILL MOST DEFINITELY BE WATCHING THAT AGAIN.
WOW.
THAT WAS SO GOOD.
