Needle Felted Wool Lamb and Bird
I hope you're not getting sick of seeing little felted critters because it's so addicting, I'm sure there will be more to come!
This little Woolsey Lamb is going to join Hamlet the Pig for an appearance in my daughter's stocking this Christmas. She's so cute! I can't stop squeezing her!
I also made this little bird which was originally supposed to be our Christmas tree topper. I collect bird nests, so I set one of the nests on the top of the tree and put the little bird in it. My daughter cried so piteously for it, however, that I just caved and let her have it. For the past three or four days, it has been firmly secured in her little iron grip and goes with her everywhere. I haven't been able to pry it away from her except when she falls asleep, so that's why he looks just a little bedraggled around the edges. She teaches the little bird to read and they like to sit together and share a handful of crackers every afternoon.
