I signed up for this sweet digital film camp but I want to go with someone I know, the dates are June 23-June 28:
New York Campus of the UCLA ARTS CAMP in Digital Filmmaking in association with US Performing Arts Camps:
Located at the home of DV DOJO in New York's East Village, the Arts Camp is offering a one week non residential camp (Monday through Saturday) in narrative digital filmmaking with a curriculum developed and taught by the faculty of the internationally acclaimed UCLA Film, Television and Digital Media Department. Situated at 310 Bowery within walking distance to some of the most stimulating neighborhoods in the City including Soho, Greenwich Village, Chinatown, Little Italy and the historic Lower East Side the campus is in a restored ground floor loft space with 18' ceilings, exposed brick walls, hard wood floors and glass walls. In association with the highly praised digital video school DVDOJO, the New York UCLA Arts Camp in Digital Filmmaking is a hip place to work, learn and even hang out in an exciting creative environment. Working with state of the art equipment campers are put through an intensive and creative pace in the study, preproduction, production and post production of narrative story telling in a visual medium. Campers will write, shoot and edit digital projects and screen films specifically selected by the faculty of the UCLA School of Theater Film and Television. The faculty and teaching mentors are selected from the finest that UCLA has available and they will be bringing their own unique professional and academic experiences to each camper throughout the week. All sessions will be supervised so that campers are always accompanied by experienced personnel. Special guests and former UCLA Alumni may drop in from time to time to provide campers with interactive creativity.
Enrollment is limited and campers must arrange for their own transportation and living accommodations. Promptness to each session of the camp is mandatory from Monday through Saturday.
