SMALL GROUP OF BRAVE VOLUNTEERS FAIL TO STOP NATURAL DISASTER

Amazon

Last week, a group of the bravest men (and woman) in Texas was assembled to stop an inevitable flood in the Amazon Rain-forest that would potentially destroy three villages.

The group was composed of Jim Steel, the tough leader with an estranged daughter and heart of gold. Jimmy Stevenson, a wise cracking nervous racist, was second in command. The navigator, Hakeem Goldbloom, a gay black jew who only wants people to understand him, was the third member of the doomed journey. Finally, Mary Keen drove, she also happened to be Jim Steels's on again off again love interest (at the time they were not talking).

The group set off to divert the water rushing toward the town with "enough dynamite to blow up Israel (ok, bad example, I know)." Their plan involved making a giant man-made crater turned lake at the last possible minute.

Unfortunately, the mission was doomed from the start. Once in the Amazon, the racist Stevenson immediately murdered Hakeem Goldbloom in a hate-crime by finding a snake and using it as a noose. In addition, due to the captain Steel and driver Keen's complete contempt for each other, the destination was never reached. When told to turn left, Mary turned right just to spite him, and the car sailed off a forty foot cliff, killing the remaining party members.

The towns were brutally rushed with millions of metric tons of water, killing all inhabitants.
