I think I'll try defying gravity
Today it is really raining. The sky is gray and it is absolutely pouring. I like it though... If it's gonna be overcast and dark then it might as well rain rain rain.
Today at lunch Kristen Granchelli was telling us about how she went on a random baking spree last night. She felt like baking for someone and just did it. She baked and baked and baked. It was late and she had lots of work to do and she's been up until 3 am all week, but it didn't matter. She just baked.
Then there was KDF... She got the Postal Service CD yesterday and thought about how she wanted ot listen to it in the rain while driving. So today it was raining so she just drove around and listened to it before school... When she got to school she wanted to keep driving and listening so she did. She just didn't turn into Holcott... Eventually she got there about 3/4 of the way through english.
The point here is that Kristen and Katie both had these urges to do things that the enjoy and they did them. I never do that. I mean I have fun and I am really happy right now, but I am so jealous of people that live so passionately. I very much live by the rules. I don't mean that in the sense that I don't speed or steal things from convenience stores, but I mean I never just branch out and do something purely because I feel like it. I never let my emotions overrun my logic. Even if I wanted to bake until the cows came home I would, instead, do homework, go to the gym and get to bed at a reasonable hour. I am not a passionate person because I am lazy and I stress too much. You know, I don't even understand what people mean when they say someone is passionate. Like I understand if you are a passionate about art or music or something, but how are you just passionate in general? I have no passion :( If I do do somethign random then it is after I've done my work... Bahh...
You want to know what is truley pathetic? Right now I am gonna sign off line, do my homework and go to the gym. I'm never gonna learn.
Although I think I will go to the political society forum tonight :)
